"So what?" you might ask. "Nice STORIES. Very entertaining, inspirational even. But what do these STORIES have to do with me?" Or you might think, "Yah, right. God did that?"
These STORIES are just a few of the ways in which God has intervened in our lives and shown Himself to be near and powerful. When you experience the power of God in your life, you are changed to be sure. Our STORIES are meant to show people that God is involved in the life of those who believe and follow Him. God is moving; He desires that you would come. He is a God who meets the needs of those who call on Him.
So that is the point: God moves. He is available and desires to be involved in your life. He is a gentleman though; he won't crash your party. He awaits your invitation written with the pen of humility, signed in sincerity, sealed with confession. God desires followers; He seeks worshipers; those who treat Him as the God He is. He will receive you today. Come with a desire to learn from the good Teacher, to be conformed by the highest Influence, to experience life as it was created to be.

There is much more to tell concerning the God's expression of love toward us when we look at Jesus Christ, God's Son. The Bible says that Jesus is "the image of the invisible God" and "the exact representation God's being". In short, Jesus is our window on heaven. When we behold Jesus, we peek in at heaven. |
