I developed arthritis in my neck; my doctor suspected a childhood accident as the cause. He said I would have to live with it for the rest of my life. For a long period of time I suffered from daily headaches and an aching in my neck that became unbearable.
But then something unexpected happened at a conference at church. Dr. Gordon Aiken was one of the guest speakers. After delivering a powerful message, he asked if he could pray for anyone - especially those who felt enslaved to something. I went forward to be delivered from an addiction to food. When he put his hands on my head and neck to pray for me, an intense heat flowed from his hands through my neck and into my body. I knew God had done something. On the way home after the service I noticed that my headache was gone and I had no discomfort in my neck. The power of God healed me of my arthritis and I have not had a headache or an ache in my neck since that night!
God is amazing! I went forward for prayer expecting Him to do one thing, and He blessed me with a different miracle altogether.
